FAQ

White Question Symbol
Q: What is it?
A:
The PTD is an online newsletter offering trading ideas in futures markets. Its niche is spread trading using seasonal data, technical analysis and fundamental analysis. New trading ideas are posted each week and current trading ideas are followed along until closure. Membership is by way of online subscription.

Q: Is this for advanced traders only?
A:
Not at all. There is an emphasis on learning as you go. There are plenty of educational articles and videos on the site and the newsletter updates are designed to help you trade.

Q: After subscribing to the newsletter, how long will it take to get access?
A:
You will gain immediate access to the site.

Q: When should I expect the newsletter updates?
A:
The site is updated every Sunday ahead of the trading week. Updates are posted mid-week should there be new opportunities.

Q: So are you just showing me what to buy and sell?
A:
There is much more to the PTD Newsletter than this. In addition to high probably spread opportunities in the futures markets, you get plenty of education. The weekly updates also follow along any trading ideas from entry to exit, including stop loss management. Many of our customers are new to trading and as such that end-to-end guidance is something they love.

Q: When does my subscription expire?
A:
When you want it to. You are not tied into any contract and you can cancel at any time.

Q: Can I get a copy of a past update?
A:
Yes. Members have past copies available.

Q: I’m new to trading. Should I start out with ‘paper trading’?
A:
As a broker in the retail market, I have known many traders who start trading shares or futures on paper. That is they are following theoretical trades, rather than real ones. This is a great idea for new traders, particularly when studying a new trading method or looking at complex ideas. Paper trading however has its limitations – namely it is not real trading.

Once you start trading with real money, you will most definitely get a better feel for the way a market behaves. It is recommended that you paper trade for no more than a couple of weeks. After that, it seems to become counter-productive.

Q: How do I pay?
A:
You can pay monthly or quarterly. We use Paypal to process credit card transactions. Paypal is the world’s leading payments system with buyer protection and full data encryption. Learn more www.paypal.com.

Q: What about guarantees?
A:
If for whatever reason you are not happy, ProTrader will refund your payment for the month in full, no questions asked.
